Our Mission Statement
The Christian Youth Development Council
recognizes the efforts by development partners and other organization to bring peace and development to Liberia and Liberia's youths. The challenges face by youths of the nation is enormous after the fifteen years of civil war and henceforth need the direct involvement of Liberians youth and Liberians in the rebuilding process of their lives and communities.
It is against this background of the fore-going that Christian Youth Development Council has come into being by the far-sightedness of the founding members to propagate the concept of developing the spiritual and physical lives of Christian youths, bring back those who have fall out of the Christian faith and those who need to know our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

CYDC is interdenominational and non-governmental organization which is concern with developing Christian youths, spiritual and physical lives through various programs and activities.

Vision
CYDC is focus on Christian youths development, and capacity building (in training youths to know Christ, and to bring back the fallen youths to the Christian faith, production of spiritual music, public preaching, winning souls, and other programs to strengthen the youths of our communities through various programs and activities), and much more along the way.

Objectives

    • To make disciples for Christ.
    • To carter to the needy in society (Women and the disadvantage).
    • To work together in Christian love, to strive for the advancement of Christian knowledge, holiness and comfort.
    • To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the organization, and the relieve of the poor.
    • To spread the Gospel of our Lord to all nations that does not have it.
    • To remember each other in prayer, to aid each other in sickness and distress and to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech.
    • To be just in our dealings, faithful in our engagements and exemplary in our departments.
    • To promote the kingdom prosperity, to sustain worship, ordinances and discipline and also be zealous in our efforts and services to the kingdom.
